This "wooden blanket" combines both woodworking, an intrest of my father, and quilt making, an intrest of my grandmother. Reflecting on the common familia influences of many artist and craft related to gender norms. This pieces was created based on my experience being one of the only cis women in my fabrication certificate program. It also represent my struggle with my identify as a women in craft.
